The details:

Excellent tutoring is about more than completing homework. I provide students with tools they can use for a wide variety of assignments. These tools might include a three step writing process, creative ways to attack word problems, or a weird and wacky method for memorizing facts.

After consulting with you, your child, and your child's teachers, I will create an individualized plan for instruction.

Instruction will always draw on a student's strengths in order to help develop in more challenging areas. I also take my student's sense of humor and natural interests into account to create engaging, challenging lessons.
